Mo' Money Mo' Houses, Weekly Link Love: Just Legalize It Already America Edition

If you haven’t already watched this video by College Humor, you need to! It’s absolutely hilarious! I’m not super political in my everyday life or on this blog for that matter, but I just don’t understand what the big deal is about legalizing gay marriage in the States? It’s been legal here in Canada since 2005 and we’re all doing just fine. Ok, that’s all I’m gonna say.

In other news, today is actually going to be a pretty interesting day for me. I’ve got my orientation to be a mentor! I’ll write about it next week, but I’m pretty excited about it. Basically it’s all through the YWCA and I get to be a mentor to a high school student who is looking for a bit of guidance from someone who has finished post-secondary and is currently in the workforce. A few of my friends are doing it too, which is really cool, although we’ve all agreed that if you had told us 5 years ago that we would become mentors, we would have laughed in your face. I guess this means we’re gettin’ old!
