The one thing I love about blogging, which I really didn’t think I would love, is that it’s always evolving, or at least I’m always evolving with my blogging. Case in point, I’ve made several announcements throughout this year about making changes to my blog (like here, here, and here). I just want to make sure this blog is the best it can be, and to do that sometimes I need to stop doing certain things (like posting every Monday to Friday, with the exception of this week of course), and also start doing some new things.

What I’ve decided, with some encouragement from Jeremy over at Modest Money, is to do a weekly link round up. For the past while I’ve just been doing a big link round up once a month, but I just don’t feel like that’s really cutting it anymore. There are so many great blogs out there (seriously, I’ve got 97 blogs in my Google reader), and there are so many new ones I keep discovering that deserve some recognition.

As many of you bloggers know, there are certain things you need to do, blogger etiquette really, in order to get other bloggers to read and promote you, and other readers to find you. I’m talking about commentingon other people’s blogs, sharing their posts on Facebook and Twitter, and of course thanking everyone who shares your blog posts on Facebook and Twitter. Let me just say that as much time as I spend writing multiple blog posts each week, I spend way more time just commenting and tweeting. I don’t think I’ve ever been more attached to the hip with the internet than in these past 10 months!

Anywho, although I try my best to comment, tweet, and everything else, sometimes I just can’t keep up! That’s why I want to do a weekly link round up every Saturday to recognize all the awesome blogs out there producing some stellar content and who regularly show me some love too.
