Finding Freebies: Is It Worth All The Hassle?

I used to be really into getting all of the latest freebies and samples, but honestly, I couldn’t keep up. It’s practically a second job, the amount of time you end up spending checking all the freebie forums and vying to get the free offers before the quotas have been filled. But that’s not to say that it’s not worth trying out, plus who doesn’t love getting something in the mail? Besides finding the freebies, the effort of getting the free goods is actually minimal. Usually it requires you to like their product on Facebook, which you can unlike after you get your sample, or signing up to receive their e-newsletter which you can later unsubscribe from. I’ve settled with a more lax approach, checking the latest samples out every few months. Here are some of my favourite places to check for freebies:

smartcanucks.ca - You’ll have to sift through a long list of forum entries but it’s worth it if you find something good.

pgbrandsampler.ca - You’ll have to watch this site like a hawk because samples get snatched up crazy quick. But, the upside is the samples are top quality and usually you get a few samples bundled together.

redflagdeals.com - This is one of my top websites for finding freebies and deals. You can find freebies specific to the city you live in by choosing your location then clicking Freebies under Deals > Special Offers.

What’s your take on finding freebies?
